Manager, Supply Chain and Planning

Location: Royersford, PASalary: $110-140k basePosition OverviewLead and optimize end-to-end supply chain and production planning activities to ensure on-time product availability, cost-effective sourcing, and efficient logistics.

This role is accountable for inventory management, production scheduling, supplier negotiation, and driving continuous improvement using ERP (SAP) and advanced Excel models. The Manager will partner cross-functionally with Procurement, Production, Logistics and Sales to support new product launches, manage transportation and shipment routes, and deliver measurable improvements to service, cost and lead time metrics.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain production plans and detailed production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing capacity and inventory levels.Manage inventory strategy and execution, including safety stock settings, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.Oversee parts and raw material ordering processes, ensuring timely replenishment, accurate lead-time management and adherence to procurement policies.Coordinate supply, shipment and transportation routes with internal teams and third-party carriers to ensure efficient, on-time delivery and minimize freight costs.Lead supplier negotiations for pricing, lead times and terms; build and maintain strong vendor relationships and assess supplier performance.Define, track and report key evaluation metrics and KPIs (e.g., OTIF, inventory turns, forecast accuracy, lead time variance) and use insights to drive corrective actions.Manage ERP and planning systems (SAP) master data, MRP runs and system configuration; develop and maintain Excel models and dashboards to support planning decisions.Support new product introductions by creating supply plans, sourcing strategies, initial inventory builds, and launch readiness checklists.Collaborate with Production, Quality and R&D to resolve production constraints, prioritize orders, and implement CAPA or process improvements.Implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean/Six Sigma principles) to reduce waste, improve throughput and lower total cost of ownership.Mentor and develop planning and supply chain staff; foster cross-functional communication and alignment on priorities and timelines.Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements and company procurement policies.QualificationsBachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business or related field; advanced degree a plus.5+ years of experience leading supply chain teams focusing on planning, production planning, or materials management.Hands-on experience with ERP systems.Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, macros, scenario analysis) and experience building planning models and dashboards.Proven experience with inventory management, production scheduling, parts and raw material ordering, and transportation/logistics planning.Demonstrated ability in supplier negotiations, cost reduction initiatives and vendor performance management.Experience supporting new product launches and cross-functional launch teams.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience defining and tracking evaluation metrics and KPIs.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to influence at all levels.BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off401k with company match Email Your Resume In Word ToMadeline.Griffin@CyberCoders.comLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
