Manager Technical Projects

This role will of ManagerTechnical Projects at AIR should bridge engineering, operations, supply chain, and project management. This role will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic manufacturing and infrastructure projects, manufacturing technology, industrial scale-up, capacity expansion, and cross-site projects with a focus on NPI delivery.Key Responsibilities:Lead technical projects from concept through commissioning and handover.Oversee and manage the installation, commissioning, and validation of manufacturing equipment and production lines.Provide engineering guidance throughout the project lifecycle including equipment selection, utilities requirements, and facility modifications.Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, production, quality, procurement, EHS, maintenance, supply chain).Prepare project budgets and monitor project spending against approved CAPEX allocations.Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and risk registersDrive equipment FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ where applicable.Ensure successful technology transfer between manufacturing sites.Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and industrialization activitiesTrack project KPIs and provide executive updates.Manage external suppliers and contractorsEnsure compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety requirements.Qualifications & Experience:7–12 years of project management experience in manufacturingBachelor degree in Engineering (mechanical/electrical/industrial)Hands on Experience inFactory ExpansionsProduct line installation and commissioningAutomationCapex managementProcess engineeringManufacturing scale-upExperience in regulated manufacturing is a strong advantage (tobacco, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, food, medical devices, etc.)Production equipmentLean manufacturing and six sigma principlesProject schedulingChange managementKey Competencies and Soft skillsExcellent stakeholder managementAbility to influence without authorityStrong communication skillsStructured problem solvingComfortable presenting to senior leadershipCalm under pressureHighly organized
