Manager- Wet Utilities

Job PurposeThe Wet Utilities Section Manager will provide technical expertise over all wastewater (Sewege Network), Treated Sewage Effluent, drainage (Storm Water) Network, Hydrology, and Irrigation Networks from all engineering and design aspects of the department. Coordinate and manage the section to meet all planning, budgeting, and operational goals of the department with respect to Wet Utilities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead technical oversight of sewerage, stormwater, TSE, and irrigation networksManage and mentor engineers and draftsmen within the sectionReview and approve engineering designs and deliverablesEnsure compliance with UAE regulations and authority standardsCoordinate with consultants, contractors, regulatory bodies, and internal departmentsImplement QA/QC processes and risk mitigation strategiesSupport budgeting and long-term infrastructure planning initiativesQualificationsBachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or equivalent).15+ years of wet utilities design experience in the Middle East, with proven delivery of large-scale infrastructure or municipal projects in the UAE/GCC region.Strong understanding of local authority regulations and standards related to stormwater network design.Excellent communication, technical reporting, and problem-solving skills.
