MANAGING DIRECTORTaunton/Exeter/Bristol £120k plus equityThis multi sited SME is a market leader and manufactures a range of precision engineering products plus range of engineering services. It is entrepreneurial with a commercial strategy to at least double in size by selective acquisition matched to strong organic growth.Due to planned retirement, the Chair seeks to appoint a Managing Director who relishes working within a manufacturing environment. It is obviously a very broad role, requiring entrepreneurial spirit driving both revenue and profitability as you grow the business, combined with an understanding of leading and managing operations across the U.K. and Ireland.Candidates should be experienced executives who have worked with large international corporates but have gained experience within an SME. Exposure and understanding of how growth is managed is a prerequisite as is your enthusiasm for engineering and manufacturing. You must be a leader as well as a manager with strong, flexible communication skills who is comfortable in both the shop floor and the boardroom.
