MANAGING DIRECTOR — GLOBAL CHEMICAL EXPORTS (MALAYSIA)

Key Responsibilities Business Leadership: Lead commercial growth and export operations in Malaysia; develop long-term regional growth strategies Team Leadership: Build and develop a commercial sales operation; recruit and develop sales professionals International Business Development: Expand exports into North America, Europe, Japan, South Korea; negotiate long-term commercial agreements Supplier Development: Develop strategic relationships with Malaysian and Southeast Asian chemical manufacturers Logistics & Supply Chain: Coordinate export logistics; develop relationships with freight forwarders and logistics providers Financial & Commercial Management: Drive profitable revenue growth; manage budgets and commercial forecastsRequired Qualifications Minimum 10+ years of experience in chemical distribution, international trading, or specialty chemicals Must have existing legal authorization to work in Malaysia Significant experience exporting chemicals internationally Existing supplier relationships throughout Malaysia and Southeast Asia Experience negotiating international commercial agreements and leading commercial teams Understanding of international trade finance and bank financing used in global chemical transactionsStrong Plus / Preferred: Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, or other regional language skills; existing international customer portfolio; experience managing multiple regional offices; experience with letters of credit, trade financingTarget Product Experience: Industrial Chemicals, Specialty Chemicals, Solvents, Process Chemicals, Chemical Raw Materials, Performance Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Additives, IntermediatesIdeal Candidate Background — candidates may currently work for: KLK OLEO, IOI Oleochemical, Emery Oleochemicals, Pacific Oleochemicals, Vance Bioenergy, Musim Mas, Wilmar International, Kao Chemicals, Evyap, Southern Acids Industries, or similarSkills: chemical distribution,team leadership,commercial management,supplier development,international business development,chemical export
