About the Role

This is not a conventional operations leadership role. The mandate requires an experienced business leader capable of taking full ownership of P&L, profitability, working capital, commercial performance, operations and organizational transformation, while leading the business through its next phase of sustainable growth. The successful candidate should bring demonstrated experience in business turnaround, financial recovery, large-scale catering/service operations and senior commercial leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Take overall ownership of business strategy, P&L, EBITDA, cash flow, working capital and profitability.Lead enterprise-wide transformation across Operations, Finance, Commercial, HR, Procurement and Support Functions.Review the existing contract portfolio and restructure, renegotiate or exit underperforming contracts where required.Improve margins through cost optimization, manpower productivity, procurement and supply-chain efficiency.Strengthen receivables, DSO, supplier management and working-capital discipline.Drive new business acquisition and replacement revenue through strategic client relationships, tenders and commercial negotiations.Lead large-scale healthcare and institutional catering, FM and integrated support-service operations.Build and lead a high-performing senior management team.Strengthen governance, compliance, operational controls and performance-management frameworks.Manage key relationships with clients, suppliers, strategic partners and financial stakeholders.Candidate Profile:The ideal candidate will have:Significant leadership experience as Managing Director, CEO, COO, Country General Manager or Business Head.Direct healthcare / hospital catering experience, preferably including patient feeding, institutional catering or large healthcare contracts.Strong experience in contract catering and/or integrated support services / FM.Proven responsibility for a large and complex P&L, ideally at AED 150M+ scale.Demonstrated success in turning around an underperforming or loss-making business and restoring profitability.Strong experience in cash-flow management, working capital, DSO/receivables and supplier management.Exposure to banking, working-capital facilities, OD/credit lines or financial restructuring would be highly advantageous.Experience leading large multi-site operations and sizeable multicultural workforce.Strong business-development, tendering, pricing and contract-negotiation capability.UAE/GCC market experience strongly preferred.Key Competencies:Business Turnaround | Healthcare Catering | P&L & EBITDA Leadership | Working Capital | Commercial Growth | Contract Rationalization | Integrated FM | Financial Transformation | Stakeholder Management | Business Development | Organizational Transformation
