The teacher will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mandarin language lessons for students across appropriate grade levels, using age-appropriate teaching methods and resources. Daily responsibilities include developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, providing feedback, maintaining accurate records, and supporting students’ language acquisition and cultural understanding. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, participate in school events and meetings, communicate regularly with parents or guardians as needed, and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs.Qualifications Strong proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written), with the ability to teach grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and conversation at various grade levels.Experience in classroom teaching or language instruction, including lesson planning, student assessment, and classroom management.Skills in creating engaging learning materials, using educational technology, and adapting teaching strategies to different learning styles.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents in a multicultural school environment.Bachelor’s degree in Education, Chinese Language, Linguistics, or a related field; relevant teaching certification or training in language education is an advantage.Commitment to student-centered learning, inclusive education, and ongoing professional development.Ability to work on-site in Pekanbaru and participate fully in school activities, meetings, and events.Prior experience teaching in a National Plus or international school setting is a plus.
