The individual will translate documents, emails, presentations, and technical materials between Mandarin and Indonesian/English to support daily operations in the automotive manufacturing environment. The role includes interpreting in meetings, factory visits, and training sessions to facilitate clear communication between local teams and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders. The translator and interpreter will ensure accuracy, cultural and contextual relevance, and confidentiality of all information handled. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional departments, supporting administrative communication tasks, and assisting in the preparation of bilingual reports and documentation.QualificationsStrong proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) and Indonesian, with good command of English for business communication.Proven experience in translation and interpretation, preferably in manufacturing, automotive, or industrial environments.Ability to translate technical and operational documents with high accuracy and attention to detail.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings and discussions across cultures.Good organizational and time management skills to handle multiple translation and interpretation requests efficiently.Familiarity with basic office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentation tools) and digital collaboration platforms.Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Translation, International Relations, or a related field is preferred.Willingness to work on-site in Bekasi and collaborate closely with production, engineering, and management teams.Integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive information and company documents.Experience in or interest in the automotive industry and industrial terminology is an advantage.
