Professionals joining the team can expect to work in an environment committed to excellence, safety, and long-term growth.The Mandarin Translator will provide accurate, timely translation and interpretation between Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia/English for daily project communications, meetings, and technical documentation. This on-site role, based in West Java, Indonesia, supports project managers, engineers, and administrative teams by translating contracts, reports, work instructions, and correspondence.The position involves facilitating clear communication between Chinese and Indonesian stakeholders, assisting with negotiations, site briefings, and government or client interactions as needed. The translator will review and refine translated materials for accuracy and consistency, maintain terminology glossaries, and ensure that culturally appropriate language is used. The role also includes supporting administrative tasks related to documentation management and coordinating with internal departments to ensure smooth information flow.QualificationsStrong proficiency in Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia, with good working knowledge of English, and the ability to translate in both written and spoken forms.Experience in translating technical and project-related documents, preferably in construction, engineering, or related industries.Ability to interpret in real time during meetings, site visits, and negotiations, maintaining clarity, accuracy, and neutrality.Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities for managing multiple translation tasks and deadlines.Familiarity with construction or engineering terminology and willingness to study and maintain standardized glossaries.Comfort working in an on-site project environment in West Java, Indonesia, and collaborating with multicultural teams.Relevant educational background such as a diploma or degree in Languages, Translation, Communications, or a related field is preferred.Prior experience as a translator or interpreter in an international company is an advantage; knowledge of local regulations and business practices is beneficial.
