Manlift Operator

Position: Manlift OperatorDepartment: OperationsLocation: Dubai, UAE (EGA AT & JA Projects)Employment Type: Full-TimeReports To: Site Supervisor / Project Manager Job ResponsibilitiesOperate manlifts (Boom Lifts, Scissor Lifts, and other MEWPs) safely and efficiently.Conduct pre-start and daily inspections of the equipment before operation.Ensure all lifting operations are carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and site safety procedures.Follow work permits, risk assessments, and method statements before commencing work.Report any equipment defects or unsafe conditions immediately.Maintain housekeeping around the work area.Coordinate with supervisors, safety personnel, and work crews during lifting operations.Comply with all UAE traffic regulations, EGA requirements, and company HSE policies.Ensure proper parking, shutdown, and securing of equipment after use.Minimum QualificationsValid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence (Category 7 or Category 8) suitable for operating manlifts/MEWPs.Minimum ITI or equivalent.ExperienceMinimum 2 years of experience operating manlifts/MEWPs in the UAE.Experience working in industrial plants, construction, or infrastructure projects is preferred.Experience working at EGA, ADNOC, DEWA, or similar industrial environments will be an advantage.Preferred CertificationCandidates holding a valid IPAF Licence (PAL Card) will be given priority during the selection process.Required SkillsGood understanding of safe operation of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs).Knowledge of pre-use inspections and basic equipment maintenance.Familiarity with UAE HSE regulations and site safety requirements.Ability to understand work permits, safety instructions, and supervisor directions.Good communication and teamwork skills.
