Backed by a strong institutional platform and supported by a leading incubator, the venture aims to improve productivity, safety, and efficiency across high-impact industries through the deployment of versatile robotic solutions.About The RoleWe're hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to lead production line design, manufacturing processes, and continuous improvement for AD Robotics a robotics venture.This role is responsible for production line design, manufacturing flow, automation integration, ERP configuration, and process documentation to support efficient, scalable production of our robotics platforms.You will work closely with engineering, quality, supply chain, and commercial teams to build reliable manufacturing processes for complex robotic products, including legged robots and humanoids.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and optimize production line layout, workstation configuration, and material flow for robot assembly, integration, and test. Lead assembly process development for complex robotic platforms, including mechanical, electrical, and sensor/software integration steps. Define and implement end-of-line functional testing, calibration, and quality checks to ensure product reliability. Identify and implement automation opportunities within the production line to improve efficiency and reduce manual error. Apply lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste, improve throughput, and increase overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Configure and maintain ERP master data (BOMs, routings, work centers) to support accurate production planning and execution. Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation to ensure consistency and compliance. Partner with engineering and quality teams to support new product introduction and continuous process improvement. Requirements8+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, or process engineering, preferably in a start-up or scale-up environment, including experience in robotics / hardware. UAE experience preferred, with familiarity with local manufacturing and regulatory requirements. Hands-on experience with production line design, process development, and assembly of complex electromechanical products. Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) for BOM, routing, and work center configuration. Strong grounding in Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma methodologies. Experience developing SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation. Comfortable operating in fast-paced, early-stage, or scaling business environments. Education And CertificationsBachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or equivalent lean certification considered an advantage. Familiarity with CAD/simulation tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) is a plus. Proficiency in ERP and manufacturing software tools (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle).
