Manufacturing Engineer

Our client, a global leader in engine manufacturing and power solutions, is looking to hire a Manufacturing Engineer in Colombus, OH! This role is a 1-Year W2 contract with benefits!As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will lead end-to-end manufacturing process development, optimize equipment performance and scalable production lines, drive continuous improvement, and champion new product introduction (VPI) launch activities. This is an On-site position.What You Will Be DoingLead end-to-end manufacturing process development for assigned projects, ensuring full alignment with safety, ergonomic, quality, and business objectivesApply advanced manufacturing principles to optimize equipment performance, streamline tooling solutions, and drive scalable, efficient production processesChampion continuous improvement initiatives using standardized manufacturing tools and structured problem-solving to reduce waste and enhance productivityCoordinate cross-functional teams and external resources to execute VPI launch deliverables on time while establishing standardized process documentationRequired Skills & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline5+ years of hands-on manufacturing engineering experienceDemonstrated hands-on programming and operational experience with Fanuc HandlingTool or Fanuc Arc Tool robotics softwareStrong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Direct experience supporting VPI (Value Package Introduction) or new product launch activities alongside structured continuous improvement methodologiesMotion Recruitment Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
