Location: RedditchIndustry: Manufacturing – precision engineeringOverview:We are seeking an experienced and proactive Manufacturing Manager to lead manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement across the production environment consisting of precision machining and fabrication of metal components.

Key responsibilities of the Manufacturing Manager role:Lead day-to-day machining and manufacturing operations. Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved. Manage and develop production teams, supervisors, and team leaders. Monitor and improve productivity, OEE, efficiency, and machine utilisation. Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Reduce scrap, rework, downtime, and operational waste. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards. Support production planning, capacity management, and resource allocation. Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams to optimise performance. Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions. Manage manufacturing KPIs and operational budgets. Support new product introduction and process improvement activities.The ideal candidate / Manufacturing Manager may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:Proven experience in a Manufacturing Manager, Production Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role within a manufacturing environment that consist of precision machining and fabrication.
