The role carries full responsibility for the site's P&L, including revenue, operating expenses, manufacturing costs, profitability, and investment decisions. The Site Lead is responsible for defining and executing the site's operational strategy, ensuring sustainable growth, business continuity, regulatory compliance, and long-term value creation for Envu.YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:Financial & Business LeadershipOwn the site's full Profit & Loss (P&L) performance and deliver agreed financial targetsDrive revenue growth, cost optimization, productivity improvements, and profitability enhancementDevelop and manage annual operating plans, budgets, forecasts, and long-range plansEnsure effective working capital management, including inventory, receivables, and cash optimizationIdentify, evaluate, and execute capital investment projects aligned with business objectivesProvide regular business performance reviews and strategic recommendations to senior leadershipStrategic LeadershipLead capacity enhancement and industrialization initiatives to support business growthBuild and maintain relationships with key suppliers, authorities, and external stakeholdersRepresent the site in interactions with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and the communityEnsure business continuity and risk management plans are implemented and regularly reviewedDrive organizational development and leadership succession planning across the siteSafety and ComplianceEnsure health and safety in all aspects of work. Provide safe machinery, tools, infrastructure, healthy working environment for all employees (permanent and temporary), subcontractors and third-party providersTake measures and give instructions, training and supervision as reasonably required to prevent harm to employeesConduct and maintain a Risk Inventory&Evaluation, and plan/implement preventive measuresEnsure compliance with environmental regulations related to emissions, waste management, chemical handling, and pollution control. Maintaining valid operating permits (environmental, safety, etc.) and submitting required reports and declarations to authorities.Operational and People LeadershipLead and coordinate all activities on site (production, maintenance, logistics, QHSE, ESG), ensuring smooth and efficient workflow across departments.Manage, coach, and develop team members, fostering accountability and engagement.Oversee staffing, performance evaluation, and training needs.Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with company values.Continuous Improvement Promote a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence and innovationIdentify and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce wasteEngage employees in trouble-shooting methodologyARE YOU READY FOR THE ROLE?Main requirements:Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). 7+ years of experience in industrial operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Experience in a small or mid-size site environment preferred.Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and drive operational improvementsLeadership and people management skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal .Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.Financial acumen and budget management experience.Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, industrial operations, and supply chain dynamics.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while aligning with strategic goals.Fluent in Dutch and English.Envu is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees and applicants, regardless of ethnicity, color, race, religion, origin, age, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, or other conditions.
