The Manufacturing Supervisor will provide frontline leadership within a cGMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, overseeing formulation operations, production execution, employee performance, quality compliance, safety, and continuous improvement.The ideal Manufacturing Supervisor brings hands-on manufacturing leadership experience, maintains a strong presence on the production floor, develops and coaches’ employees, manages production priorities, and ensures safe, efficient, and compliant execution. ResponsibilitiesMaintain a strong presence on the production floor while reinforcing manufacturing standards, safety expectations, and operational disciplineOversee production readiness, including staffing, materials, equipment status, and documentation accuracyMonitor production performance, staffing levels, and operational metrics to ensure production targets are achievedOwn functional KPIs and communicate performance, challenges, and improvement plans to leadershipEnsure compliance with cGMP requirements, SOPs, aseptic standards, environmental monitoring requirements, and safety proceduresReview and approve manufacturing documentation, including batch records and logbooksLead and support deviation investigations, root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiativesCoach and develop frontline employees through regular feedback, performance discussions, training, and development planningSupport employee onboarding, cross-training, and ongoing skill developmentPromote accountability while fostering a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented work environmentPartner with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, Engineering, and Validation teams to resolve production and compliance issuesCommunicate production risks, operational performance, and escalation items to leadership in a timely mannerRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor’s degree is not requiredAt least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, operations, logistics, or another regulated environment, preferredDemonstrated leadership experience as a supervisor, team lead, trainer, coordinator, or through another formal or informal leadership role, preferredStrong communication, interpersonal, team-building, and problem-solving skills, preferredAbility to lead frontline employees, establish clear expectations, and drive accountability in a production environment, preferredStrong commitment to cGMP compliance, safety, quality, and continuous improvement, preferredWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with manufacturing or quality management systems, preferredExperience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CMO/CDMO, medical device, food/beverage, food science, or other regulated manufacturing environments, preferredExperience within a GMP, FDA-regulated, cleanroom, aseptic, or highly controlled production environment, preferredFormulation, compounding, batching, solution preparation, or related process-manufacturing experience, preferredExperience with deviations, investigations, CAPA, training compliance, or quality systems, preferredFamiliarity with SAP, TrackWise, MasterControl, or comparable ERP/QMS platforms, preferredExperience leading shift activities, production employees, onboarding, training, or employee development, preferredAdditional InformationSchedule: Friday through Sunday and every other Thursday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM.The role requires the ability to work in a cleanroom manufacturing environment, stand or sit for extended periods, and work around moderate noise, cleaning chemicals, and latex. Candidates outside the Spokane area who are open to relocation will be considered. BenefitsThis role offers a competitive pay of $46.98–$55.27/hour, including a 15% shift differential. A sign-on incentive may also be available depending on the candidate and circumstances.
