Apply & track with Apply EdgeAl-Bahar BackgroundMohamed Abdulrahman Al-Bahar founded in 1937, is a leading business house in the Arabian Gulf with a vision to become the number one provider of customer value in construction equipment, energy and transportation, and materials handling industry.Al-Bahar are dealers of Cat® machinery, heavy equipment and power systems for a wide variety of applications, including earthmoving, building and construction, mining, road making construction, demolition, waste and scrap handling, electric power generation, marine propulsion etc.With more than 2,000 committed employees, Al-Bahar offers a highly engaging and supportive work environment in a culture that values, recognizes and rewards quality performance.Our Human Resources Critical Success Factors are:Continue to build and strengthen intellectual capital by hiring and retaining quality people, rewarding performance, and providing them with growth opportunities.Job PurposeThe Marine Commissioning Engineer will support the installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and after-sales support of CAT engines and generator sets for marine and industrial applications.Key ResponsibilitiesCommissioning and start-up of CAT Marine/Industrial engines, generator sets, and associated systems.Pre-commissioning inspections, functional testing, load testing, FAT, SAT, and sea trials.Commissioning and troubleshooting of generator synchronization, load sharing, protection, and automation systems.Experience with DSE, DEIF, Woodward, and CAT EMCP control systems.Troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, control, and automation-related issues.Preparation of commissioning reports, service documentation, and technical recommendations.Compliance with OEM procedures, project specifications, HSE standards, and classification society requirements such as ABS, DNV, BV, and Lloyd's.Willingness to travel locally and internationally.Qualifications & ExperiencesDegree in Electrical, Mechanical, Marine, or Electromechanical Engineering.Minimum 3 years of relevant commissioning or power-generation service experience.CAT engine and generator set experience is highly preferred.Ability to read electrical schematics, control drawings, and single-line diagrams.Strong troubleshooting, communication, and reporting skills.
