Marine Offshore Floating System Engineer

Role Description The Marine / Offshore Engineer at PT. Teknologi Weldim Indonesia is a full-time, on-site role based in Jakarta, Indonesia. This role involves planning, supervising, and optimizing marine and offshore engineering activities, including vessel-related operations, inspections, and maintenance. The engineer will collaborate with project and operations teams to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant marine operations aligned with applicable standards and regulations. Daily tasks include reviewing technical drawings and specifications, preparing reports, coordinating with external partners and clients, and supporting the implementation of engineering solutions in offshore and coastal environments. The role also includes contributing to risk assessments, safety procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives for marine projects.QualificationsExperience and knowledge in Marine Operations and Maritime activities, including coordination of vessel movements and offshore work.Background in Navy or similar disciplined marine environment, with familiarity in operational standards and safety protocols.Hands-on experience with Boat and vessel systems, including basic diagnostics, inspection, and maintenance coordination.Ability to deliver and participate in Training related to marine safety, procedures, and technical practices.Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Offshore Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related engineering discipline.Understanding of offshore structures, marine equipment, and relevant international and local regulations.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills, with attention to detail and safety.Ability to work on-site in marine and offshore environments, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, and communicate clearly in English and Bahasa Indonesia.Experienced in offshore marine terminal facilities, single-point mooring (SPM) buoys, and subsea hose systems?
