قدّم وتابع مع أبلاي إيدجWe are working with an international shipping company seeking an experienced Marine Operations Manager to join its Singapore-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior seafarer to transition into a shore-based role with a well-established organisation operating a modern fleet of specialised gas carriers across global markets.Relocation support is provided for the successful candidate.Reporting to the Fleet Manager, you will take responsibility for the safe and effective marine operations of a designated fleet of LPG, petrochemical and/or ethylene-capable vessels.Key responsibilities include:Overseeing day-to-day marine operations, including navigation, mooring, cargo operations, STS activities and vessel readiness.Ensuring safe and efficient loading, discharge, tank preparation and grade-change operations.Managing vessel compliance with international regulations, company procedures and industry standards.Leading and coordinating third-party inspections including SIRE, CDI, PSC, USCG, terminal and flag-state inspections.Conducting vessel management visits, audits, safety inspections and onboard training.Reviewing inspection findings, incident reports, near misses and operational issues, ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions.Working closely with technical teams on repairs, drydock planning and vessel maintenance.Liaising with Class, oil majors, terminals, owners, suppliers and other external stakeholders.Monitoring vessel documentation, certification and record keeping.Supporting incident and accident investigations when required.Assessing and developing deck officers, including appraisals, interviews and promotion recommendations.Promoting a strong safety culture with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.About YouWe are looking for an experienced maritime professional with a Master Mariner Certificate of Competency and sailing experience as a Master or Chief Officer on LPG and/or ethylene vessels.You should have strong knowledge of international maritime regulations, vessel operations and industry best practice, combined with a practical and solutions-focused approach.Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.The role requires a willingness to travel internationally, sometimes at short notice, along with confidence using digital systems and Microsoft Office.Previous shore-based experience is not essential, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced Master or Chief Officer looking to make their first move ashore.The OpportunityThis is a fantastic opportunity to join an international shipping organisation in a senior shore-based position, utilising your operational experience while contributing to the safety, compliance and performance of a specialised gas fleet.Location: SingaporeRelocation support: ProvidedSector: International Shipping / Gas CarriersExperience: Master / Chief Officer, LPG & EthyleneInterested?
