The company promotes a culture of continuous improvement, technical excellence, and operational transparency for all seagoing and shore-based personnel.Role Description the Marine Superintendent is a full-time, based on Kochi Kerala. This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day vessel Tanker operations, including safety, compliance, maintenance planning, and performance monitoring for assigned ships. The role involves coordinating with masters and chief engineers, reviewing vessel reports, planning dry-dock and repair activities, and ensuring adherence to flag, class, and international regulatory requirements. The Marine Superintendent will manage operational documentation, prepare for and follow up on vetting inspections, audits, and port state controls, and support incident investigation and corrective actions. The position also includes supervising and mentoring shipboard personnel, optimizing operational efficiency, and liaising with clients, authorities, and internal departments to ensure reliable and cost-effective ship management.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Marine Operations and Vessel Operations skills, including voyage planning, safety management, and day-to-day operational oversight.Candidates should possess solid Ship Management experience, covering maintenance coordination, budget control, regulatory compliance, and lifecycle management of vessels.Candidates should possess effective Supervisory Skills, with the ability to guide shipboard staff, coordinate teams, and support performance and development.Candidates should possess Vetting experience, including preparation for inspections, handling audit findings, and implementing corrective and preventive measures.Strong knowledge of IMO conventions, SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, and other international maritime regulations.Excellent communication and report-writing skills, with proficiency in English and the ability to interact effectively with multicultural crews and stakeholders.Proven experience in a shore-based superintendent or senior seagoing role, preferably within commercial ship management operations.
