The workshop serves customers from Ras Al Khaimah and across the wider UAE, earning repeat business and referrals through consistent, reliable service.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Marine Technician role based in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. The Marine Technician will perform routine and complex maintenance and repair on boats, jet skis, and marine engines, including troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting vessels and motors, conducting diagnostics, performing scheduled services, replacing parts, and completing high-quality repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines. The role also involves working with electrical wiring and control systems, documenting work performed, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and collaborating with the wider workshop team to support mixed marine and vehicle fleets. The Marine Technician will interact with service advisors and customers as needed to clarify issues, explain findings, and support accurate job estimates.QualificationsStrong marine maintenance and repair skills, including experience working with boats and related marine systems.Hands-on experience with marine motors, including diagnostics, servicing, and performance tuning.Ability to work safely with electrical wiring, marine electrical systems, and basic electronic controls.Background in marine operations or navy environments is an advantage, with familiarity in maritime safety practices.Previous experience as a Marine Technician or similar role within workshops or marinas.Knowledge of manufacturer service procedures and use of diagnostic tools for marine engines.Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.Basic English communication skills required; additional language skills are beneficial.Relevant vocational training, trade certification, or technical diploma in marine engineering, mechanics, or a related field preferred.Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and delivering clear, honest service to customers.
