Our partner is looking for a Market Curation Editor (Culture) based in Saudi Arabia.This role combines cultural expertise, editorial judgment, and product data operations within an emerging social-predictions platform. You will act as the human quality layer behind an automated system that generates candidate prediction markets, deciding which opportunities are relevant and ready to publish. The position requires deep, current knowledge of U.S. entertainment and culture, including television, film, music, celebrities, fandoms, and rapidly developing trends. You will assess whether markets are factually sound, timely, clearly written, and objectively resolvable using authoritative sources. Strong judgment will be essential when navigating rumors, changing release dates, awards outcomes, evolving charts, and sensitive topics involving public figures. Your decisions and editorial work will directly shape market quality, reliability, and the experience of users following live cultural moments.AccountabilitiesReview daily queues of system-generated culture markets against fixed completion deadlines.Evaluate each candidate for factual accuracy, clarity, relevance, and whether its resolution criteria can be reliably adjudicated using an authoritative source.Verify opening and closing times against the underlying cultural event, such as an announcement, broadcast, release, ceremony, or other scheduled moment.Determine whether a market is genuinely culturally relevant and timely rather than technically accurate but no longer meaningful to audiences.Assess markets against community standards and content guidelines, escalating sensitive or ambiguous cases involving private life, health, minors, grief, or unverified allegations.Approve, edit, or reject candidate markets while recording a specific and structured reason for every decision.Rewrite questions and resolution criteria for precision, clarity, and authentic fan-oriented language, including relevant fandom terminology.Create timestamped clarifications when ambiguity arises during a live market and handle settlement situations where no authoritative data feed is available.Conduct proactive gap scans across social platforms, fan communities, entertainment media, and other sources to identify culturally significant moments missed by the automated pipeline.Monitor breaking developments, emerging trends, major releases, awards activity, and other high-interest cultural events.Participate in regular calibration reviews to maintain consistency with published guidelines and align decisions with other curators and team leads.Contribute to overall product quality through consistent queue completion, accurate decisions, high-quality reasoning, precise rewrites, and proactive market discovery.Requirements3+ years of experience in entertainment journalism, editorial work, social or community management, or a comparable role requiring strong and current cultural expertise.Demonstrable current knowledge of U.S. entertainment culture across television, film, music, celebrity news, fandoms, and digital culture.Strong awareness of the U.S. media landscape, including which outlets and sources are reliable for breaking news and how to distinguish confirmed announcements from speculation.Sound judgment when handling ambiguous situations such as rumors versus confirmed information, changing release dates, disputed awards outcomes, and revisions to chart methodologies.Ability to quickly interpret multiple sources and reach a defensible, evidence-based determination.Exceptional written communication and editorial precision, with the ability to create clear rules and resolution language that remain unambiguous once an outcome is known.Strong understanding of the distinction between legitimate public-interest coverage and sensitive private-life topics involving real people.Ability to work within established content and editorial policies and escalate uncertain or sensitive cases rather than making unsupported decisions.Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while working under strict deadlines.Availability for evening, overnight, and weekend work when required around live cultural events.Experience with prediction markets is an advantage.Background in a newsroom, entertainment publication, large-scale social platform, or digital media environment is a plus.Familiarity with content policy, moderation frameworks, editorial standards, style guides, or annotation guidelines is beneficial.Demonstrated ability to identify emerging trends and major cultural moments in real time.Active participation in fast-moving digital communities or fandoms is valued as evidence of genuine, current cultural fluency.BenefitsFully remote opportunity with a global working environment.Opportunity to work at the intersection of entertainment culture, editorial operations, AI-powered automation, and emerging prediction products.Direct influence over the quality, relevance, and reliability of culturally focused prediction markets.Exposure to major entertainment events, breaking news, trends, fandoms, and rapidly evolving digital communities.Collaborative environment with regular calibration sessions and knowledge sharing.Opportunity to develop expertise in cultural research, editorial standards, product data operations, and prediction-market workflows.Flexible working arrangements designed to accommodate live events, including evenings, overnight periods, and weekends.How Jobgether WorksWe use an AI-powered matching process to ensure your application is reviewed quickly, objectively, and fairly against the role's core requirements.
