Apply & track with Apply EdgeThe Healthcare Service Line works and provides primary custom research with Pharmaceutical, bio-tech, medical device manufacturers and technology companies throughout the project lifecycle from early stage strategy, to launch of a new product, to product optimization. .What you can expect to be doing:Responsible for the actions and activities of the team (with Medtech management)Existing client development plans (with Medtech management)Problem resolution and ownership of resultsDirects complex projects and higher-value work, displaying well-developed research skills, knowledge and thoughtGenerate meaningful insights from research data to add real value to the clientUse advanced research techniques and apply them appropriatelyMaximize opportunities for client contact and take a lead role; measure to be set through review process (relationship building and seeking repeat and new business wins, including numerous targeted account face-to-face meetings/year)Challenge and mentor junior staff in research skills and their career developmentRecruit key skills and ensure operational efficiency of Department is maintained at all timesConduct performance reviews and design staff development plans for the team (with business area Director). Carry out appropriate performance management activitiesKeep abreast of current trends within healthcare and major Medical Device and Diagnostics companiesHandle several different projects at once, ensuring time, budget and profitability requirements are metProduce outputs and research that are of high quality and consistent with agreed outputsProduce proposals that meet and where possible exceed the brief requirementsEnsure all questionnaires facilitate strong data collection capabilityProvide accurate analysis and interpretation of dataLiaise professional and effectively with the Operation departments to ensure we deliver what we say we willManage the effective interface between the business area and Operations and Corporate functions and external suppliersPromote teamwork in the business area, Division and across IpsosThis might be the job for you if you have:At least 6 years of strong Market Research Experience and good application of knowledgeIdeally have experience in medical devices and technologies, although not essentialSolid experience in questionnaire design, table specifications and project managementExperience directly managing a team and projectsUnderstand and use statistical analysisSelling of research projects and capabilitiesGood communication skills, written and oralSound problem-solving skillsAble to work under pressure and meet aggressive deadlinesExceptional time management skillsGood data preparation skillsGood client service skillsAble to build strong links with the rest of the businessProactive / Self-motivatedAble to work effectively in a team and independentlyDegree in Business, Marketing, Social Science, Biological Science, Healthcare / Pharmacy, Statistics or related studiesIf you don’t meet 100% of the requirements, we encourage all who feel they might be a fit for the opportunity to apply.
