Your future.The teamYou’ll be joining our Marketing & Business Development team in the UAE, working closely with lawyers and senior stakeholders across the firm to support the delivery of excellent client service, strengthen client relationships and contribute to the growth of the practice.The team operates in a fast-paced and supportive environment, where collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement are highly valued. You will work alongside experienced Marketing & Business Development professionals and have the opportunity to build strong relationships across the firm while contributing to the success and continued growth of the Middle East practice.What you'll doThe main duties and responsibilities for the role are as follows:Produce and support the bidding and pitching process locally and internationally, adhering to the firm's best practices.Draft, edit and maintain the firm’s marketing materials (digital collateral, brochures, lawyer profiles, etc.).Coordinate and draft the firm’s annual legal directory and awards submissions, in addition to press releases and other media announcements where required.Update the central credentials database, liaising with the central Marketing & Business Development team, updating them on new credentials, client wins, pitches and proposals.Maintain key Marketing & Business Development-related infrastructure, including web pages, CRM system, intranet, social media and bids platform.Assist the department with a variety of marketing activities, including organising client events and seminars.Manage and coordinate attendances at third-party events, roundtables and workshops.Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and third-party vendors.Assist with the implementation of marketing campaigns and a variety of other activities on an ad-hoc basis.About youThe successful candidate will have the following:A proactive, can-do attitude, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills, approachable, adaptable, and flexible in relation to working hours and business requirements.Strong team player with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of seniority and from diverse cultural backgrounds.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a high standard of written business English.Proficient in CRM software and databases.Ability to work under pressure and in a challenging environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and PowerPoint. Experience with design software such as Adobe Photoshop and InDesign would be advantageous.High level of attention to detail.Enthusiastic, with the initiative to generate new ideas, learn quickly and contribute effectively across a variety of projects.The main responsibilities of this role are outlined above; however, this description is not exhaustive, and the job holder may be required to undertake additional duties from time to time to ensure the smooth running of the department.
