Marketing & PR Manager - Fixed Term Contract

We’ve got a busy Q4 ahead at Sketchbook Events and we’re looking for an experienced Marketing & PR Manager to join our team and help us make some noise.4-month contract | Dubai | Immediate startYou’ll work closely with our team across a number of exciting events and campaigns, helping us build momentum, reach the right audiences and create genuine buzz online and beyond.We’re looking for someone who can take the lead on: Developing and driving marketing plans for our events and campaigns Social media planning, content and day-to-day management PR, media outreach and securing relevant coverage Content planning and copywriting Growing online communities, reach and engagement Email marketing and digital campaigns Event, speaker and partner announcements Finding fresh ways to get our events in front of the right audiences and drive registrations Working closely with our creative team to brief, develop and roll out campaign assets Supporting the marketing and profile of Sketchbook Events Tracking what’s working, measuring results and finding ways to push campaigns further We need someone who knows how to take great creative, build a strong plan around it and make sure it gets seen by the people who matter.What we’re looking for: 5+ years’ experience in marketing, PR, communications or event marketing Strong experience managing social media channels and content calendars Proven PR and media outreach experience, ideally with examples of coverage secured Strong copywriting and communication skills Experience with email marketing and digital campaigns A good understanding of LinkedIn and Instagram and how to grow reach and engagement organically Comfortable managing multiple campaigns, deadlines and stakeholders at once Able to work independently, bring ideas and take ownership from day one UAE market experience, with established media contacts a strong advantage UAE-based and able to work regularly from our Dubai office Appropriate UAE visa and work authorisation for the duration of the contractWe’re particularly interested in people who can demonstrate real results, whether that’s successful campaigns, audience and social growth, PR coverage, event promotion, registrations or engagement.You’ll be proactive, switched on and full of ideas.
