Marketing Director

Location: CyprusAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Marketing Director to join a growing organisation in Cyprus and take ownership of a newly established marketing team.This is a key leadership position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment and has a strong track record of successfully entering and scaling new markets.The successful candidate will take the lead on the company’s European market expansion strategy, identifying new opportunities, developing market-entry plans and driving sustainable growth across new territories.You will be responsible for setting the overall marketing direction while also working closely with the team to ensure strategies are translated into measurable commercial results.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of the marketing function in Cyprus, providing leadership, direction and mentorship to a newly established team.Develop and execute market-entry strategies for new European territories.Identify market opportunities, customer trends, competitive landscapes and potential routes to growth.Build tailored marketing strategies for each new market, taking into consideration local audiences, regulations, competitors and consumer behaviour.Lead customer acquisition, retention, brand and growth initiatives across new territories.Establish clear KPIs, budgets and performance targets, continuously optimising activity based on data and commercial performance.Work closely with senior leadership and other departments to align marketing strategy with wider business objectives.Build and develop a high-performing marketing team, establishing processes, structure and a strong performance culture.Manage external agencies, partners and other marketing suppliers where required.Oversee campaign planning, channel strategy, brand positioning and go-to-market activity.Monitor market performance and use data and insights to identify opportunities for further growth.Continuously test new channels, markets and approaches to improve acquisition and overall marketing performance.Take a hands-on approach when required, particularly during new market launches and periods of rapid growth.What We're Looking For:Significant experience in a senior marketing leadership role, within iGaming.Proven experience in European market expansion and market entry.Strong understanding of acquisition, growth marketing and customer lifecycle strategies.Experience building, managing or taking over marketing teams.A commercially minded leader who understands the relationship between marketing activity, revenue and profitability.Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.Experience managing significant marketing budgets and performance KPIs.Excellent understanding of different European markets and the ability to adapt strategies to local audiences.Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.Comfortable operating in a start-up or scale-up environment where things move quickly and strategies need to evolve.A hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to combine high-level strategy with execution.Why Join?This is an opportunity to join a business at an exciting stage of international expansion and have a genuine impact on its European growth strategy.You will have the opportunity to take ownership of a new marketing team, shape the company's approach to entering new territories and build strategies that directly influence the future growth of the business.Interested?
