Position SummaryThe Marketing Director is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive 360° marketing strategies that drive brand growth, increase market share, strengthen customer engagement, and enhance the company’s overall business performance.This role oversees integrated marketing initiatives encompassing brand management, digital media, performance marketing, content and creative development, social media, and marketing-driven sales efforts. The Marketing Director will work closely with the AVP for Marketing and lead cross-functional teams to ensure that all marketing activities align with the company’s business objectives, customer engagement goals, brand standards, and revenue targets.The role will also provide strategic direction for the company’s creative and multimedia content, ensuring the effective use of video, animation, motion graphics, and other visual content across digital and marketing channels.Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Marketing and PlanningDevelop and implement an integrated 360° Marketing strategy covering traditional, digital, experiential, content, and multimedia marketing channels.Drive overall brand positioning, communication, visibility, and market presence across all platforms.Ensure marketing strategies are data-driven, performance-focused, and aligned with sales and business objectives.Collaborate with executive leadership to establish annual marketing goals, budgets, strategies, and key performance indicators.Translate business objectives into actionable marketing campaigns and initiatives.2. Performance Marketing / Marketing-Driven SalesDesign and lead performance marketing initiatives aimed at generating qualified leads, increasing conversions, and delivering measurable ROI.Partner with the Sales Department to strengthen marketing-driven sales pipelines and integrate marketing insights into conversion strategies.Evaluate and optimize campaigns based on analytics, conversion metrics, customer acquisition costs, and revenue outcomes.Ensure marketing initiatives contribute to the achievement of departmental sales targets.Utilize customer insights, market trends, and digital analytics to refine promotional, acquisition, and sales strategies.3. Digital Media and Social PlatformsOversee the company’s digital presence across all platforms, including websites, social media, content marketing, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and paid media.Drive engagement, reach, and audience growth through innovative campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, and emerging platforms.Ensure brand consistency across digital channels while leveraging performance data to optimize content and advertising spend.Develop and implement digital content strategies aligned with brand objectives and target audiences.Manage relationships with digital agencies, media partners, influencers, and other external creative or marketing partners.4. Creative Content, Motion Design, and Video ProductionLead the creative direction and overall visual execution of marketing campaigns across digital, social media, advertising, events, and other communication channels.Oversee the development of high-quality video content, motion graphics, animations, promotional videos, reels, short-form content, presentations, and other multimedia assets.Provide creative direction and quality control for video editing, animation, motion design, graphic design, and multimedia production.Work closely with the creative team and/or Motion Designers and Video Editors to translate marketing concepts and campaign objectives into engaging visual content.Review and approve storyboards, scripts, video edits, animations, motion graphics, and other creative outputs to ensure alignment with brand standards and campaign objectives.Ensure that video and animation content is optimized for different platforms, formats, audiences, and campaign objectives.Encourage the use of innovative video, animation, and motion design techniques to improve audience engagement and brand storytelling.Ensure timely delivery of creative assets in coordination with marketing campaign schedules.Must be able to review and assess a portfolio of previously produced videos, animations, motion graphics, and other multimedia content.5. Market DevelopmentCollaborate with the VP for Sales and other departments to align marketing initiatives with overall business growth objectives.Identify and develop new market opportunities, partnerships, customer segments, and acquisition channels.Support expansion into alternative and non-traditional channels through targeted marketing campaigns.Use market intelligence to forecast trends, assess risks, and recommend strategies for sustained competitive advantage.Monitor competitor activities and identify opportunities to strengthen the company’s market positioning.6. Brand and Communications ManagementOversee brand messaging, corporate communications, and public relations to maintain a strong and positive company image.Lead the development of creative materials, marketing collateral, promotional content, videos, animations, and other brand assets.Ensure consistent brand storytelling across internal and external communications.Establish and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency in visual identity, tone, messaging, and creative execution.Ensure all marketing content reflects the company’s values, positioning, and target audience.7. Leadership and Team DevelopmentServe as the deputy of the AVP for Marketing and provide leadership and strategic support to the marketing function.Lead, inspire, and mentor the marketing team to achieve strategic objectives and foster a culture of creativity, innovation, accountability, and performance.Develop team capabilities through continuous training, coaching, innovation workshops, and performance management.Promote collaboration across departments, ensuring seamless coordination among Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, and other relevant functions.Establish clear roles, responsibilities, workflows, and performance expectations within the marketing team.Manage and coordinate internal and external creative resources, including designers, video editors, motion designers, agencies, and other specialists.8. Data Analytics and ReportingEstablish marketing performance dashboards and reporting tools to track KPIs, campaign performance, lead generation, conversion rates, customer acquisition, and ROI.Present marketing performance insights, recommendations, and strategic updates to senior management.Analyze campaign and customer data to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.Continuously assess market conditions, competitive landscape, customer preferences, and digital trends to guide marketing direction.Use data and insights to support informed decision-making and improve marketing effectiveness.Qualifications and RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Advertising, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.At least 8–10 years of progressive experience in marketing, with significant experience in a managerial or leadership capacity.Strong experience in 360° marketing, digital marketing, performance marketing, brand management, content marketing, and marketing-driven sales.Proven experience in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital advertising, analytics, content strategy, and customer acquisition.Experience managing and mentoring marketing and creative teams.Strong strategic thinking, leadership, communication, project management, and analytical skills.Demonstrated ability to manage marketing budgets and deliver measurable business results.Experience working with external agencies, media partners, influencers, and creative service providers is an advantage.Strong understanding of current digital, social media, video, animation, and content marketing trends.Strong appreciation and understanding of video production, motion graphics, animation, and visual storytelling.Must have a portfolio of previous videos, animations, motion graphics, reels, advertisements, or other multimedia content produced or directed.Ability to provide creative direction and quality control for video and animation projects, even when production is handled by an internal creative team or external specialists.Proficiency or working knowledge of creative and multimedia tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, CapCut, Canva, or equivalent platforms is an advantage.Highly creative, results-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
