Apply & track with Apply EdgeThis isn't a brand-awareness role. It's a growth leadership role.At Versatile High-Performance Coatings, we measure marketing by one thing: results. New customers won, customers retained, and revenue generated. Not impressions. Not post counts. We're looking for a hands-on Director of Marketing who reports directly to our President, owns the entire marketing function, and wants the accountability (and the credit) that comes with turning marketing spend into measurable growth. What You'll Own
- Customer acquisition. Build and run the annual marketing strategy, with winning new professional contractor accounts as the top priority, measured by account activations, cost per acquisition, and attributable revenue.
- Paid media. Lead Google Search, Meta, and emerging B2B trade channels with direct accountability for ROAS and cost per new customer.
- Ecommerce. Treat versatile.net (NetSuite SuiteCommerce) as a revenue engine: drive qualified traffic, improve conversion, and strengthen SEO and answer-engine visibility, working with IT and development partners.
- Lifecycle and email. Build onboarding, product education, reorder, and reactivation programs with clear revenue attribution.
- Product positioning and go-to-market. Shape naming, packaging direction, and messaging that sets Versatile Systems apart for contractors.
- Content and social. Create a repeatable customer-proof engine of contractor case studies, job-site photography, and application content, in partnership with Sales.
- Trade shows and promotions. Own the promotional calendar and integrated pre-, at-, and post-show campaigns that convert.
- Budget, data, and reporting. Allocate spend based on what's working, own attribution with NetSuite as the system of record, and deliver a weekly performance scorecard to the President.
- Agencies and team. Set the strategy, hold agency partners accountable, and build and lead a lean, high-performing marketing team. What You Bring
