Marketing Intern – Squish PlanetSquish Planet is looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and proactive Marketing Intern to join our team for a six-month paid internship at our office in Za’abeel, Dubai.Start date: ImmediatelyWorking hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, fully on-siteThis role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating short-form content, follows the latest social media trends, and wants hands-on experience in ecommerce, content creation, and digital marketing.You will help create engaging TikTok videos and Instagram Reels while working closely with our team to grow the Squish Planet brand.Key ResponsibilitiesRecord engaging TikTok videos and Instagram Reels featuring our products.Appear on camera and speak naturally and confidently in social media content.Edit short-form videos using CapCut or similar video-editing software.Research current TikTok and Instagram trends and identify opportunities relevant to the brand.Suggest creative content concepts and new ways to showcase products.Take ownership of content from idea and filming through to editing and publishing.Upload and optimize content across our social media platforms.Review content performance, including views, engagement, retention, comments, and sales impact, to understand what performs best.Help support product launches, new arrivals, restocks, website content, and other ecommerce marketing activities.Assist with Shopify-related marketing and merchandising tasks when required.Use AI tools such as ChatGPT to assist with content ideas, scripts, captions, research, and marketing workflows.Assist with product photography and the creation of simple marketing assets using Canva and AI tools.Respond to customer comments and messages professionally.Assist with daily marketing tasks and content planning.Work closely with the team to continuously improve content quality and performance.RequirementsComfortable appearing on camera and recording social media content.Previous experience creating TikTok videos, Instagram Reels, or similar short-form content.Confident filming independently while also being able to follow creative direction.Proficient in CapCut or equivalent mobile video-editing software.Strong understanding of current TikTok and Instagram trends.Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable figuring things out independently.Able to take initiative rather than relying on constant supervision or step-by-step instructions.Good communication skills in English.
