We're building the US marketing operation largely from scratch, drawing on Goodwood's UK heritage but shaping a proposition, voice and campaign approach that's genuinely built for an American audience. We need a Marketing Manager who wants to define that positioning, not just run a playbook that already exists.This is a builder role, not a caretaker role. You'll be joining pre-launch, shaping brand messaging, acquisition strategy and market positioning before membership even opens. If you want to write the strategy, keep reading.What you'll be doingOwning the GRRC USA marketing strategy and plan, tied to membership acquisition, retention and event sell-out targetsShaping the US brand proposition, messaging and market positioning, conveying Goodwood's heritage and premium values in a way that lands authentically with an American audienceLeading integrated campaigns across paid, owned, earned and partner channels, from the Founding Membership launch onwardOwning media planning and buying in the US market, plus content creator and influencer partnerships as an acquisition toolRunning CRM and lifecycle communications with the UK teamActing as brand guardian for GRRC in the US, protecting brand IP, heritage and reputation at every touchpointManaging the PR agency and shaping the US social and PR strategy alongside UK counterpartsTaking strategic ownership of the GRRC USA membership app: setting the vision, tone and KPIs, and managing a Marketing Executive who runs day-to-day community activityOwning the marketing budget, forecasting spend, and using data to continually optimize performanceWhat you'll bringA track record of creating, launching or building something (a brand, a proposition, a campaign approach, a market position), not just executing against someone else's briefExperience shaping mission-led marketing and messaging that conveys real organisational purpose and values, not just product featuresHigh energy and genuine enthusiasm you can bring to members, colleagues and partners.
