Guided by the mission to “Build Stronger People,” the team helps beginners start their journey and experienced athletes push their limits.Role Description The Martial Arts Coach is a full-time, on-site role based in Sharjah. The coach will lead group and personal training sessions in martial arts and functional fitness for kids, teens, and adults, ensuring safe, effective, and engaging classes. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, demonstrating techniques, correcting form, and tailoring training to different experience and fitness levels. The coach will monitor member progress, provide constructive feedback, and promote discipline, confidence, and personal growth. Additional tasks include maintaining a safe training environment, supporting member retention, collaborating with other coaches, and representing Spartans’ values within the academy and local community.Qualifications Strong technical expertise in one or more martial arts disciplines (e.g., boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, BJJ, karate, taekwondo) and practical self-defense training experience.Experience designing and leading strength and conditioning, functional fitness, or performance training programs for varied age groups and fitness levels.Proven ability to coach kids, teens, and adults, with skills in class management, motivation, and adapting instruction to individual needs.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships, foster community, and encourage continuous improvement.Commitment to safety, including proper warm-ups, injury prevention, and adherence to gym standards and hygiene practices.Prior experience as a martial arts or fitness coach, instructor, or trainer; relevant coaching certifications or belt/rank achievements are highly beneficial.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by class schedules.CPR/First Aid certification and familiarity with basic sports injury response are a plus.Comfort with basic member tracking, session planning tools, and communication via digital platforms or social media.
