The organization focuses on safety, operational excellence, and technical innovation to maintain a strong reputation in the marine and petroleum sectors.Role Description The Master is a full-time, on-site role based in Al Bahr al Ahmar, Egypt, responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing navigation, voyage planning, and compliance with international and local maritime regulations. The Master leads and supervises the crew, manages onboard safety drills, and ensures adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards. The role involves coordinating with shore-based operations, clients, and port authorities, maintaining accurate logs and reports, and overseeing cargo and marine operations as required. The Master also ensures that all onboard equipment and systems are operated safely and that company policies and procedures are consistently applied.Qualifications Valid Master (Captain) license and STCW-compliant certifications appropriate for offshore marine and petroleum operations.Strong knowledge of marine navigation, seamanship, and ship handling, including experience with offshore support vessels or similar fleet.Demonstrated experience in safety management systems, emergency response, and compliance with international maritime regulations (IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL).Ability to lead diverse crews, manage performance, and foster a safety-focused, respectful, and inclusive work environment.Proficiency in vessel documentation, reporting, and communication with port authorities, clients, and shore-based teams.Good command of English for technical communication; Arabic language skills are an advantage.Previous experience in offshore petroleum or marine services operations is highly desirable.Strong problem-solving skills, resilience in challenging sea conditions, and readiness for extended time onboard.
