ÚCHÈ is committed to sustainability and invites creative professionals to contribute to its growing, contemporary fashion universe.Role DescriptionThe Master Cutter and Tailor is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for translating ÚCHÈ’s conceptual designs into impeccably constructed garments. Day-to-day tasks include taking precise measurements, drafting and adjusting patterns, cutting fabrics, and sewing high-quality garments for limited-edition collections. The role involves fitting clients, making alterations, and ensuring each piece reflects the brand’s gender-fluid, innovative aesthetic and sustainable standards. The Master Cutter and Tailor will collaborate closely with the designer and production team, manage sample development, and maintain a well-organized, safe, and efficient workspace.QualificationsStrong expertise in pattern drafting, cutting, and garment construction, including bespoke and ready-to-wear tailoring.Proficiency in hand sewing, machine sewing, and finishing techniques to achieve luxury-level quality.Experience with fittings, alterations, and customization to ensure precise fit on a range of body types.Ability to work with diverse fabrics and materials, including delicate, structured, and sustainable textiles.Familiarity with contemporary, gender-fluid design concepts and an eye for innovative silhouettes and details.Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to meet deadlines for limited-edition collections.Collaborative mindset with clear communication skills for working closely with designers and production staff.Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a cutter and tailor in high-end or boutique fashion; formal training in fashion design, tailoring, or pattern making.Commitment to sustainable practices in fabric usage, cutting, and production processes.
