Team members work in an environment that values operational excellence, safety standards, and responsive service to clients.Role Description The Master Mechanic is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role involves performing routine and complex maintenance and repairs on crawler cranes and other heavy equipment in the company’s fleet. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing mechanical and hydraulic issues, conducting inspections, scheduling and executing preventive maintenance, and ensuring equipment is safe and ready for rental. The Master Mechanic collaborates with operations and rental teams to minimize downtime, maintains accurate service records, and supports continuous improvement of maintenance processes. The role also requires adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards and guidance of junior technicians when needed.Qualifications Strong maintenance expertise, including Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair for heavy machinery.Hands-on experience working with Heavy Equipment, particularly cranes or similar construction machinery.Proficient Troubleshooting skills for mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems.Relevant technical diploma, trade certification, or equivalent experience in mechanical or industrial maintenance.Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for working with heavy equipment.Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation.Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Previous experience in equipment rental, construction, or foundation engineering environments is an advantage.
