SAHE is committed to delivering higher education programs that meet contemporary academic and industry standards.Role Description The Master of Business Sessional Lecturers role is a full-time, on-site position based at SAHE’s campus in the Greater Sydney Area. The lecturer will deliver high-quality teaching in Master of Business units, including preparing and presenting lectures, tutorials, and workshops, and facilitating interactive learning activities. Daily responsibilities include designing and updating subject materials, developing assessments, marking assignments and exams, and providing constructive feedback to students. The role also involves holding consultation hours, supporting student learning and progression, maintaining accurate academic records, and contributing to moderation and quality assurance processes. Sessional Lecturers are expected to participate in academic meetings, stay current with business and management scholarship, and align teaching practices with SAHE’s policies and regulatory requirements.Qualifications Strong expertise in business and management disciplines (e.g., strategy, leadership, marketing, finance, operations, or related areas) appropriate for teaching at Master’s level.Demonstrated skills in university-level teaching, curriculum development, learning design, and assessment construction and moderation.Proficiency in academic communication, including clear lecturing, tutorial facilitation, academic writing, and providing effective student feedback.Capability to use learning technologies and digital platforms (e.g., LMS tools, presentation software, online collaboration tools) to support teaching and learning.Commitment to student-centered pedagogy, inclusive teaching practices, and supporting diverse cohorts, including international students.Relevant postgraduate qualification in Business, Management, or a closely related field; a doctoral degree or progress toward one is highly regarded.Experience teaching in higher education, ideally in postgraduate business programs, and familiarity with the Australian higher education regulatory environment.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple units, meet marking deadlines, and maintain accurate records.Demonstrated professionalism, collegiality, and willingness to contribute to academic quality assurance, continuous improvement, and program development.
