The brand is committed to sustainability and creative exploration, inviting individuals to be part of the dynamic and enchanting ÚCHÈ universe.Role Description The Master Pattern Maker is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for translating design concepts into accurate patterns that maintain ÚCHÈ’s distinctive aesthetic and fit standards. Day-to-day tasks include developing and adjusting patterns for new collections, overseeing fittings, and collaborating closely with designers, sample makers, and production teams to ensure garments meet quality and sustainability goals. The role involves creating patterns both by hand and using CAD tools, guiding sewing and construction methods, and troubleshooting fit or construction issues throughout sampling and production. The Master Pattern Maker also helps maintain pattern libraries, supports grading for different sizes, and contributes to continuous improvement of production processes.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Pattern Making and Pattern Design skills for complex, conceptual, and avant garde garments for men and women.Candidates should possess advanced Fitting expertise to refine garment fit, drape, and comfort across sizes.Candidates should possess proficient Sewing skills to understand construction techniques and provide clear guidance to sample and production teams.Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for digital pattern creation, modification, and grading.Relevant experience as a pattern maker, preferably in high-end RTW or conceptual fashion, with a strong portfolio of work.Solid understanding of garment construction, textiles, and sustainable production practices.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a fast-paced studio and production environment.Ability to work on-site in Dubai; with advanced formal training in fashion design, and pattern making.
