Material Coordinator Engineer

Saudi Services for Electro Mechanic Works Co. is seeking a qualified Material Coordinator Engineer to join our team.Project Locations: Henakiyah Department: ProcurementExperience: Minimum 8 years

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate material requests, deliveries, and transfers between departments and project sites.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records of materials received, issued, and returned.
• Review project drawings, technical specifications, and work schedules for assigned overhead transmission line sections.
• Inspect incoming materials to verify quality, quantity, and compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate with the design team, suppliers, and manufacturers regarding material requirements and follow-ups.
• Track shipments and ensure the timely delivery of materials to project sites.
• Follow up on suppliers’ payments and letters of credit.
• Prepare material status and inventory reports for management.
• Support stock counts, inventory audits, and proper material storage and labeling.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and documentation standards.

Requirements

• Minimum eight years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in EHV overhead transmission line EPC/turnkey projects of 380 kV and above.
• Strong knowledge of material coordination, procurement follow-up, inventory management, and site logistics.
• Good coordination, reporting, and communication skills.
