Responsibilities

Review and approve all material submittals to ensure compliance with project specifications and standardsMonitor batching, production, and placement processes to ensure consistency with approved mix designsOversee material testing programs including field and laboratory testingCoordinate with contractors and laboratories to resolve material-related issuesEvaluate and approve concrete and asphalt mix designs, ensuring suitability for project requirements and environmental conditionsEnsure QA/QC compliance for all materials used across the projectKey Competencies:Technical: Material engineering for infrastructure projects, Concrete and asphalt mix design review and approval, Laboratory and field testing (ASTM/AASHTO standards), QA/QC proceduresBehavioral: Detail-oriented, analytical
