It also extends to Sharjah with Azizi Florence.This position is with Royal Infra Contracting LLC, the infrastructure arm of Azizi Developments, which delivers roads, utilities, MEP networks and earthworks across the group's developments in the UAE.As a Material Manager, you will be responsible for planning, procuring, controlling and delivering all materials required for infrastructure projects, from roads, bridges and utilities to drainage, earthworks and site development. The role ensures materials reach site on time, to specification and within budget, while keeping wastage, idle stock and supply-chain risk to a minimum.Responsibility:Prepare material requirement schedules from BOQs, drawings, specifications and the project programmeForecast quantities and delivery timelines for bulk materials (aggregates, asphalt, ready-mix concrete, rebar, pipes, precast elements, cables, ducts and road furniture)Align material planning with the construction programme in coordination with the Planning and Project teamsCoordinate with Procurement to source, evaluate and approve suppliers and subcontractorsRaise and track material requests, purchase orders and delivery schedulesMonitor supplier performance and resolve delays, shortages and quality issuesManage material submittals and approvals with the Consultant and ClientEnsure materials comply with project specifications and the requirements of authorities such as RTA, DEWA, Dubai Municipality and Etisalat/duOversee site stores, yards and laydown areas; maintain accurate stock recordsImplement controls on material receipt, issue, transfer and returnsPlan logistics for heavy and bulk deliveries, including access permits and traffic coordinationReduce wastage, theft and surplus through regular stock audits and reconciliationTrack material costs against budget and flag variances earlyReconcile material consumption against work progress and quantities installedLead and develop storekeepers, material coordinators and logistics staffEnforce HSE standards in material handling, storage and transport

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.10+ years in material management, procurement or supply chain within construction, with at least 5 years in a managerial roleProven experience on infrastructure projects in the UAE (roads, bridges, utilities, drainage, sewerage or site infrastructure)Sound understanding of BOQs, specifications, drawings and material take-offsProficiency in ERP or inventory systems (SAP, Oracle or equivalent) and MS ExcelStrong negotiation, vendor management and cost control skills
