At Adhyaapan, we are rethinking how Math is taught in schools — shifting from formula memorization to real understanding, application, and curiosity-driven learning, aligned with the demands of an AI-driven world.We are looking for a Math Educator who doesn’t just “teach Math,” but helps students think through Math.Role OverviewYou will work with students in Grades 7–10, delivering application-oriented Math sessions that connect classroom concepts to real-world use cases, interdisciplinary learning, and future career pathways.This role combines teaching + content creation + classroom innovation.Key Responsibilities1. Teaching & Student EngagementDeliver engaging Math sessions (online and in-person) for Grades 7–10Facilitate discussion-based, application-oriented learning, not lecture-heavy classesEncourage students to ask questions, explore multiple approaches, and think independentlyConduct sessions in English and Tamil (bilingual delivery when required)2. Content DevelopmentDesign and develop application-based Math content aligned with CBSE curriculumCreate real-life problem scenarios, case-based questions, and interdisciplinary linksContribute to Adhyaapan’s Learning Transformation FrameworkSupport creation of worksheets, assessments, and higher-order MCQs3. Classroom InnovationContinuously experiment with new ways of explaining conceptsIntegrate examples from everyday life, careers, and emerging fieldsAlign sessions with Adhyaapan’s focus on “learning how to think, not just what to learn”4. Assessments & FeedbackSupport baseline and endline assessmentsTrack student progress in conceptual clarity and application abilityProvide actionable feedback to improve learning outcomes5. School EngagementVisit partner schools in Chennai a few times per month for in-person sessionsCollaborate with school teachers when required to ensure alignmentRequired Qualifications & ExperienceMust be based in Chennai3–5 years of Math teaching experience (Grade 7 and above)3–5 years of Math content development experienceStrong experience with CBSE curriculum (Grades 7–10)Proven ability to create application-oriented Math contentExperience teaching middle and secondary school studentsSkills & CompetenciesFluent in Tamil and English (spoken and written)Strong conceptual clarity in MathematicsAbility to simplify complex topics through real-life connectionsComfortable using PowerPoint and Microsoft Office toolsConfident in conducting online classes (Google Meet or similar platforms)Strong communication and classroom facilitation skillsRole RequirementsWillingness to work in a hybrid model (online + in-person sessions).
