Team members contribute to an engaging, student‑centered experience that prepares learners for a bright future.Role Description This is a full-time remote Math Tutor (USA Shift) role. The tutor will conduct live online math sessions for school‑age learners, guiding them through core topics, including arithmetic, pre‑algebra, and algebra, and reinforcing strong problem‑solving skills. Day‑to‑day tasks include planning lessons aligned with curriculum standards, delivering interactive instruction, checking understanding through questions and practice exercises, and providing constructive feedback on student work. The tutor will also track learner progress, communicate regularly with caregivers or guardians when needed, and collaborate with the FcC team to improve teaching materials and learner outcomes.Qualifications Strong subject expertise in Mathematics, with proficiency in Algebra and related school‑level topics.Experience in Online Tutoring and Tutoring, ideally with learners ages 5–18 in a virtual classroom setting.Effective Communication skills, including clear explanation of concepts and active listening to learner needs.Ability to create engaging, learner‑centered sessions using online tools and digital resources.Bachelor’s degree or coursework in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (or equivalent demonstrated experience).Comfort working USA‑aligned shifts and managing a consistent teaching schedule.Reliable high‑speed internet connection, suitable hardware, and a quiet professional environment for live sessions.Prior teaching or mentoring experience, familiarity with standardized math curricula, and a supportive, inclusive approach to diverse learners.
