In the short term, Questfield plans to expand by developing an international high school based on a uniquely designed educational concept, creating new opportunities for educators and learners.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mathematics and Physics Teacher role based in Bucharest. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons in mathematics and physics aligned with the Romanian and/or international curricula, using a variety of instructional methods to support different learning styles. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, assessing student performance through assignments and exams, and providing constructive feedback to support individual progress. The role involves collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development, participating in school projects and events, and maintaining clear communication with students and families. The teacher is also expected to contribute to a positive school culture, promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and support students in developing confidence in STEM subjects.QualificationsStrong subject-matter expertise in mathematics and physics, with the ability to teach across different grade levels.Experience in lesson planning, classroom management, and assessment design within Romanian and/or international curricula.Excellent instructional, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a learner-centered and inclusive teaching approach.Ability to integrate educational technology and practical experiments into teaching to enhance student engagement.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Physics, Education, or a closely related field; teaching certification is an advantage.Experience working in international or bilingual school environments is beneficial.Proficiency in English; Romanian language skills are an asset.Commitment to continuous professional development and collaboration with colleagues, NGOs, and educational partners.
