Mathematics Teacher

Role Description The Mathematics Teacher role is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha, Qatar. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and teaching materials, instructing students in a classroom setting, assessing student progress through assignments and exams, and providing constructive feedback. The teacher will support diverse learning needs, maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and school initiatives. Additional duties may include participating in staff meetings, professional development, and communicating with parents or guardians regarding student performance.QualificationsStrong subject knowledge in Mathematics and Mathematics Education.Experience with Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development tailored to different grade levels.Status as a Qualified Teacher with recognized teaching credentials or certification.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.Demonstrated classroom management skills and ability to support diverse learners.Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and families.Prior teaching experience in an international or multicultural school setting is an advantage.Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and adapt to school policies and standards.
