The institute values dedicated educators who can create an engaging, supportive learning environment for diverse student needs.Role Description The Mathematics Teacher role at Delta Academy is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi. The teacher will plan and deliver lessons for middle and higher secondary school students following the relevant state syllabus, ensuring alignment with academic standards and exam requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, teaching mathematics concepts clearly, assigning and reviewing homework, conducting assessments, and providing individual support to students who need additional guidance. The teacher will collaborate with other faculty members, communicate regularly with parents or guardians about student progress, and contribute to curriculum enhancement and academic improvement initiatives at the academy.Qualifications Strong foundation in Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and accurately.Experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development, including creating structured lesson plans and assessment methods.Qualified Teacher status with relevant teaching certifications or degrees in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.Effective classroom management, communication, and student engagement skills.Prior experience teaching state syllabus students in grades 8–12 is highly preferred.Ability to differentiate instruction for varied learning levels and provide personalized academic support.Comfort using basic educational technology and tools to support teaching and assessment.Commitment to creating an inclusive, respectful, and motivating learning environment.
