About ESGEmpowered Systems Group is a technology and education company delivering managed IT solutions and STEM education programs. We're launching a new tutoring service supporting Australian students in Years 7–10 as they build the mathematics foundation for their ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admission Rank) journey — and we're looking for our first Mathematics Tutor to help shape it.The RoleYou'll deliver one-on-one and small-group online Mathematics tutoring to students in Years 7–10, focusing on building strong fundamentals and exam-ready skills ahead of senior ATAR-track subjects. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help build ESG's tutoring program from the start.Responsibilities:Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Mathematics lessons to Year 7–10 students via online sessionsAssess student progress and adapt lesson plans to individual learning needsPrepare practice materials, worked examples, and homework aligned with the Australian curriculumCommunicate professionally and consistently with students and, where relevant, parents/guardiansMaintain reliable session scheduling and attendanceQualifications & RequirementsBachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, or EngineeringA functioning laptop with a stable internet connection suitable for online tutoringMust be a resident of Chitungwiza or closer surrounding areasStrong command of Mathematics fundamentals (algebra, geometry, statistics, and general problem-solving)Clear, patient communication style — comfortable teaching students one-on-one onlineReliable, punctual, and self-directedNice to have (not required):Prior tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experienceFamiliarity with the Australian curriculum or ATAR systemWhat We OfferFlexible, remote work delivering sessions from homeOpportunity to grow with ESG's STEM education division as it expands beyond Mathematics into other subjectsBe part of building a new program from the ground up
