.Role Description The Maths and Science Pearson iPrimary Teachers will deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons in Mathematics and Science for primary learners, following Pearson iPrimary frameworks. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and preparing lessons, creating differentiated learning materials, assessing student progress, and providing timely feedback. Teachers will manage classroom activities, support student well-being, and collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and enrichment activities. The role also involves participating in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events to support continuous improvement. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Algiers.QualificationsStrong subject knowledge in Mathematics and experience teaching maths at primary level.Expertise in Science Education, with the ability to teach integrated science concepts and basic Physics to primary learners.Status as a Qualified Teacher or equivalent teaching certification, with proven classroom management skills.Competence in Lesson Planning, including designing structured, differentiated, and assessment-focused lessons.Experience with or understanding of Pearson iPrimary curriculum and British-style primary education is highly beneficial.Excellent communication skills in English; additional proficiency in French or Arabic is an advantage.Ability to create inclusive, learner-centered classrooms that support diverse learning needs.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Mathematics, Science, or a related field.Commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative work within a multicultural team.
