The tutor will deliver engaging mathematics lessons, with a particular focus on core concepts and algebra, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs. Daily responsibilities include planning sessions, preparing teaching materials, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to support academic growth and confidence. The tutor will collaborate with other educators to align lessons with SEE Ltd’s vision of practical, concept-based learning and may contribute to developing educational resources and activities. The role involves maintaining a supportive classroom environment, communicating regularly with students and caregivers, and integrating innovative approaches that connect mathematics with real-world problem-solving.Qualifications Strong subject knowledge and teaching ability in Mathematics and Algebra.Demonstrated experience in Tutoring and supporting learners at different levels.Effective Communication skills for explaining complex ideas clearly and building learner confidence.Familiarity with Online Tutoring platforms and digital tools, even though the role is primarily on-site.Relevant teaching qualification or degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.Experience working with school-age learners in small-group or one-to-one settings.Ability to design engaging, concept-based lessons that encourage problem-solving and independent thinking.Strong organisational skills and a reflective approach to improving teaching practice.
