Team members join a close-knit organisation that values practical problem-solving, safety, and long-term client relationships.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for Mechanical and Hydraulic Fitters located in the Greater Perth Area. The role involves assembling, installing, and maintaining hydraulic and mechanical systems used in industrial equipment and machinery. Daily tasks include diagnosing faults, performing repairs, conducting inspections, and testing systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. The position also includes reading technical drawings, preparing work reports, and collaborating with colleagues to meet project deadlines and customer requirements. Fitters may be required to work on-site at client locations and follow all workplace health and safety standards.QualificationsStrong mechanical aptitude with experience in Mechanical Engineering and automotive systems.Hands-on Maintenance skills for hydraulic and mechanical equipment, including troubleshooting and repair.Ability to perform detailed Inspection of components and systems to identify wear, faults, and safety issues.Familiarity with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for interpreting technical drawings and system layouts.Relevant trade qualification or certificate in mechanical fitting, hydraulic fitting, or a related discipline.Knowledge of hydraulic systems, valves, pumps, hoses, and associated components.Commitment to safe work practices and compliance with industry regulations and site requirements.Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Previous experience in oil and gas, mining, or construction environments is highly beneficial.
