Mechanical Assembler

Job purposeThe Mechanical Assembler is responsible for the assembling/disassembling, maintenance, testing, packaging, marking & inspection of oilfield drilling and completion tools, and ensure all products meet related quality and safety standards.Duties and responsibilities1.Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.2.Assemble mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and equipment using hand and power tools.3.Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions.4.Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues and report complex problems to workshop supervisors.5.Ensure compliance with company quality standards and customer specifications.6.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace following standard operating procedures. Minimum Qualifications & Requirements1.Have diploma in maintenance, mechanical or manufacturing engineering.2.Ability to understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.3.Ability to use thread make-up unit and pressure test equipment.4.Commitment to quality and attention to detail.5.Good verbal and written communication skills in English.6.Have basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc).7.Good communication and interpersonal skills.
