We are committed to developing talent through professional growth opportunities and creating solutions for a better future.WORK PURPOSETo provide field service engineering and mechanical technical support for Baker Hughes / Nuovo Pignone centrifugal compressor packages, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of field activities in accordance with OEM requirements, approved procedures, and project specifications.The role will support the Jafurah – 30 Days Project and requires strong hands-on experience with centrifugal compressors and rotating equipment.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESExecute and supervise mechanical field service activities for centrifugal compressor packages.Perform mechanical inspection, maintenance, disassembly, assembly, and troubleshooting activities.Work on Baker Hughes / Nuovo Pignone compressor packages, including BCL, MCL, PCL and SRL models.Carry out field activities in accordance with OEM procedures, technical specifications, and approved work instructions.Support compressor installation, overhaul, maintenance, alignment, inspection, and commissioning activities.Identify mechanical issues and provide appropriate technical solutions during field execution.Coordinate with site teams, client representatives, and other disciplines to ensure smooth execution of field activities.Prepare and maintain required technical and field service documentation.Ensure all work is executed in accordance with applicable HSE, PTW and site safety requirements.Provide technical guidance to mechanical technicians and other site personnel as required.Support testing, commissioning, start-up and completion activities.Report field progress, technical issues, and work status to the relevant management and project teams.REQUIRED COMPETENCESStrong hands-on experience with centrifugal compressors and rotating equipment.Proven field service experience in mechanical maintenance, installation, overhaul, inspection, or commissioning.Good knowledge of Baker Hughes / Nuovo Pignone compressor packages.Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, technical specifications, and OEM documentation.Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Experience working in oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, or other industrial environments.Ability to work independently at customer/project sites and coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.Strong HSE awareness and commitment to safe working practices.Good communication and technical reporting skills.Willingness to work according to project and site requirements.QUALIFICATIONSDiploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.8–15+ years of experience in rotating equipment / field service engineering.Strong experience with centrifugal compressors is required.Previous Baker Hughes / Nuovo Pignone Field Service Engineer (FSE) experience is highly preferred.Previous Mechanical CECO experience is highly preferred.Relevant OEM or rotating equipment certifications are an advantage.Candidates must be available for the required project mobilisation and field assignment.LOCATIONSaudi Arabia – JafurahProject: Jafurah – 30 Days ProjectClient: Baker HughesAssignment: Field Service / Project AssignmentTarget Mobilisation: 23 August 2026The position requires working at the assigned project/site location and according to the project schedule and operational requirements.Join Renco and “live the planet better!”
