The team combines deep technical expertise with modern testing technology to support clients in achieving operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Commissioning Engineer role based in Riyadh. The Mechanical Commissioning Engineer will plan, execute, and document commissioning activities for mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other building services. The role involves reviewing designs and specifications, preparing commissioning plans and test procedures, and performing functional and performance tests. The engineer will identify and troubleshoot system issues, coordinate with project stakeholders, and verify compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities also include preparing reports, maintaining commissioning records, supporting handover processes, and contributing to continuous improvement of commissioning practices.Qualifications Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) and building services, with practical experience in testing and commissioning.Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation, and apply engineering principles to field conditions.Experience with commissioning procedures, functional and performance testing, and documenting test results and system deficiencies.Competence in troubleshooting mechanical issues, root cause analysis, and recommending corrective actions in coordination with project teams.Familiarity with relevant standards and codes (e.g., ASHRAE, SMACNA, local Saudi regulations) and quality assurance practices.Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams on-site.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple commissioning activities and meet project deadlines.Proficiency in common engineering and office software tools for reporting, documentation, and data analysis.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; professional certifications in commissioning or facility management are an advantage.Previous experience in commissioning or facility management for commercial, industrial, or aviation projects in the GCC region is beneficial.
